The mapping design tool in ibs Integration permits to map the fields between the source file and the destination file. This tool provides also some functions to arrange the data whenever the source and destination fields have not the same format.

BUILD THE PROCESS

General Description:
ibs Integration provides the Administrator with a graphical tool to build the integration processes with the different steps.

How to?
The Administrator will drag and drop the different sources and destinations on the layout chart. Then, he will link the objects to a mapping item.

The same integration process handles many steps with different mappings, linked to different sources and destination types.

SPECIFY THE MAPPING

General Description:
In each mapping, the Administrator will have to link the source field to the destination field. Whenever some data need to be transformed before their import or export, the Administrator may insert a formula in the link.

How to?
The i3v7 interface of the Mapping tool permits to work only with drag and drop functions. The user may drop the input and output files (they can be multiple if the mapping contains a database as source or destination). Then he links the tables by drag and dropping the links.
The same integration process handles many steps with different mappings, linked to different sources and destination types.

As per the formula, the Administrator may choose a formula within the library and drop the formula into the design frame. Then, he may link it to the input and output fields.
